مُرَيَّهٌ

, (S, K,) as an epithet applied to the سَرَاب [or mirage], (TA,) i. q. مُرَيَّعٌ, (S, K, TA,) [meaning] كَأَنَّهُ رُيِّهَ أَوْ رَيَّهَتْهُ الهِاجِرَةُ [As though it were made to come and go, or go to and fro, or run upon the surface of the earth; or as though the vehement midday-heat made it to come and go, &c.].
