أَسْنَدَ it has a plural, namely, أَسَانِيدُ; as in the saying,] الأَسَانِيدُ قَوَايءِمُ الأَحَادِيثِ (tropical:) [The ascrip-
tions to authorities, whereon they rest, &c., are the foundations of traditions]. (A, TA. [See also سَنَدٌ.])
