مُسَالٌ الخَدَّيْنِ

[apparently meaning (tropical:) Having expanded cheeks, not elevated in the balls thereof, like سَهْلُ الخَدَّيْنِ,] is a tropical phrase. (TA.)

مُسَالَا الرَّجُلِ (assumed tropical:) The two sides of the beard of the man: (O, and so in one of my copies of the S:) or, of his jaws: (so in the TA and in my other copy of the S; i. e. لَحْيَيْهِ instead of لِحْيَتِهِ:) singular مُسَالٌ: and plural مُسَالَاتٌ. (S, O.) And also (assumed tropical:) The two sides of the man [himself]; synonym عِطْفَاهُ. (S, O.)
