أَرْضٌ مُثَعْلِبَةٌ

A land having ثَعَالِب [or foxes]: (S:) or, having many thereof; as also أَرضٌ مَثْعَلَةٌ; (K;) which is from ثُعَالَةٌ; or it may be from ثَعْلَبٌ, like مَعْقَرَةٌ applied to “ a land having many عَقَارِب [or scorpions]. ” (S, L.)
