مَوْرُودٌ
1.
(tropical:) Attacked by a fever periodically: (S, L:) or suffering a periodical attack of fever. (Msb.)

An Arab of the desert said to another, مَا أَمَارُ إِفْرَاقِ المَوْرُودِ [What is the sign of the convalescence of him who is attacked by a periodical fever?] and he answered, الرُّحَضَاءُ [The sweat which follows it; or copious sweat]. (S.)
