وَقَعُوا فِى وَادِى خَدِبَاتٍ

[They fell into the valley of Khadibát]: a prov., applied to a man who falls into perdition; or to one who misses the object of his aim, or pursuit: (As, K: *) see, respecting it, [جَذَبَات, in] article جذب. (TA.)
