, (S,) or تَخْلِيعٌ, (Mgh, Msb,) verbal noun مُخَالَعَةٌ, (Msb,) (assumed tropical:) She incited, urged, or induced, her husband to divorce her for a gift, or a compensation, (بِبَذْلٍ, or بِبَدَلٍ, according to different copies of the S,) from her to him: (S, Mgh: *) or (assumed tropical:) she ransomed herself from him, and he divorced her for the ransom.
