تخالطوا فِى الحَرْبِ

(tropical:) They commingled; or became mixed, or confounded, together, in war, or battle; as also فى الحرب ↓ اختلطوا. (TA.)

تخالطوا also signifies (assumed tropical:) They commingled, or mixed together, in familiar, or social, intercourse; [conversed together; or became intimate, one with another; or they mixed, one in another's affairs; see 3, near the end;] synonym تعاشروا. (S, Msb, K, all in article عشر.)
