شَرِيدٌ

Driven away, or expelled: (S, L, K:) or, according to Aboo-Bekr, when following طَرِيدٌ, it signifies fleeing, or running away: or, as As says, alone, or solitary. (TA.)

Also A remainder of anything; as of water in a vessel, and as of property, or camels and the like; plural شَرَايءِدُ, deviating from rule: or شَرِيدَةٌ is a synonym [or rather feminine] of شَرِيدٌ [and شَرَايءِدُ is its reg. plural]. (L.)
