verbal noun of ذَلِقٌ. (S, K, * TA.)

It may be also plural of ↓ ذَالِقٌ, signifying Sharpened, or pointed, in the iron head or blade: [like مُذَلَّقٌ:]

and it may be used by poetic license for ذَلْقٌ. (L.)
