ضِرَامٌ

[is like the verbal noun ضَرَمٌ used as a simple subst., signifying] A kindling, or burning up, burning brightly or fiercely, blazing, or flaming, of fire, (S, A, TA,) in [the species of high, coarse grass called] حَلْفَاء, and the like thereof: (S, TA:) [and] the blazing, or flaming, of the [plant called] عَرْفَج [q. v.].
