عَافِرٌ

and ↓ مُنْعَفِرٌ and ↓ مَعْفُورٌ and ↓ مُعَفَّرٌ Defiled with dust: hence, العَافِرُ الوَجْهِ He whose face is defiled with dust: and الوَجْهِ فِى التُّرَابِ ↓ هُوَ مُنْعَفِرُ, and ↓ مُعَفَّرُهُ, He has the face defiled in the dust. (TA.)
