Hence, (O,) أَعْلَاطُ الكَوَاكِبِ (assumed tropical:) The shining, or brightly-shining, stars, (الدَّارَارِىّ, K, TA, [in the O الدَارّىٰ, an evident mistranscription,]) that have no names: (O, K:) or the named, known stars; as though they were مَعْلُوطَة, i. e. marked with brands.
