أَحْلَى

[ More, and most, sweet, both properly and metaphorically:] ↓ حُلْوَى is [its feminine,] the opposite of مُرَّى: you say, خُذِ الحُلْوَى وَأَعْطِهِ المُرَّى [Take thou the sweeter, or sweetest, and give to him the bitterer, or bitterest]. (S.)
