لَحْمٌ دَفِرٌ Stinking and maggotty flesh-meat. (A.)

↓ كَتِيبَةٌ دَفْرَاءُ An army, or a collected portion thereof, or a troop of horse, having rusty armour or arms: (K:) or smelling of the rust of their armour or arms. (A.)
