فُلْجٌ

(S, O, K) and ↓ فَلَجٌ (L) and ↓ فُلْجَةٌ, (O, K,) substs., (or, according to some, the first and second are inf. ns., TA,) Success; success in an enterprise or a contest; conquest; or victory. (S, O, L, K.) One says, لِمَنَ الفُلْجُ and ↓ الفَلَجُ To whom belongs success, or the conquest, or victory? (Lh, L.)
