فِيَارٌ

singular of فِيَارَانِ, (T,) which signifies The two things (T, S, M, O, K) of iron (M, K) between which is the tongue of the balance: (T, S, M, O, K:) originally with و in the place of the ى, (M, O,) changed into ى because of the kesreh before it. (O.)
