غِرَاسٌ

The act of planting trees. (A.)

[Hence,] هٰذَا مَسْقَطُ رَأْسِهِ وَمَكَانُ غِرَاسِهِ (tropical:) [This is the place of his birth, (lit., of the falling of his head,) and the place of his plantation]. (A.)

-A2- The time of planting: (S, K:) or this is termed وَقْتُ الغِرَاسِ, (A,) or زَمَنُ الغِرَاسِ. (Msb.)
