جِعَالٌ

A piece of rag with which a cooking-pot is put down (S, K) from the fire; (S;) as also ↓ جِعَالَةٌ and ↓ جُعَالَةٌ: (K:) plural جُعُلٌ (S, TA) and جَعَايءِلُ. (TA.)
