جُدَاعٌ

(tropical:) Withered herbage: (S:) or herbage that is unwholesome to the feeder upon it: (K:) or tall, unwholesome, and withered. (TA.)

And hence, الجُدَاعُ signifies (tropical:) Death: (K, TA:) written by some ↓ الجَدَاعُ. (TA.)
