جَادِىٌّ

جَادِيَاءُ: (Sgh, K:) the former a rel. n. from الجَادِيَة, or جَادِيَة, a town of البَلْقَاء, in Syria, said to produce saffron: it is mentioned by Az and IF in this article, being held by them to be of the measure فَاعُولٌ [originally جَادُوىٌ]: by J, in article جود, as being of the measure فَعْلِىٌّ.
