حَشَفَةٌ: (Msb:) pl. كَمَرٌ: (S, Msb, K:) [or rather, the latter is a coll. gen. n.; and the former, the n. un.] It is said in a proverb, الكَمَرُ أَشْبَاهُ الكَمَرِ; alluding to the likeness of one thing to another. (K.) Hence, by synecdoche, (tropical:) The penis, altogether. (Msb.)
