As a simple subst., Deceit, guile, or circumvention, and desire to do a foul, an abominable, or an evil, action, to another clandestinely: (Msb:) [and an evasion, or elusion, a shift, a wile, an artifice, &c.: see 1 as intrans.:] plural مَكَايءِدُ. (A.)
