تَلَافَاهُ

i. q. تَدَارَكَهُ [He repaired it; a meaning well known]; (S, Msb, K, TA;) namely, a short-coming; or failing, or falling short, of what was requisite, or due; and an inconsistent act. (TA.) You say, هٰذَا أَمْرٌ لَا يُتَلَافَى [This is an affair that will not be repaired]. (TA.) And تَلَافَى أَمْرَهُمْ بِالصُّلْحِ [He repaired their condition by peace, or reconciliation]. (EM, p. 117.)
