إِذَا التجّ الدَّيَامِيمُ, in a verse of Dhu-rRummeh, (tropical:) When the wide deserts become scenes of mirage like
لُجّ [or great expanses of sea of which the extremities cannot be seen]. (AHát.)

إِنَّهُ لَشَدِيدُ الْتِجَاجِ العَيْنِ
Verily he has an intensely black eye. (L.)
