مَهِيرَةٌ

[A woman to whom a dowry has been given: and hence,] a free [married] woman: (S, K:) opposed to سُرِّيَّةٌ: (A:) plural مَهَايءِرُ. (A, TA.) And, (TA,) One whose dowry is dear. (K, TA.)
