مَرَنَ

It was, or became smooth, (S, M, K,) with a degree of hardness. (M, K.) Said of a camel's foot: see أَسْحَقَ. مَرَنَ عَلَى شَىْءٍ He became accustomed, habituated, or inured, to a thing. (K.)

مَرَّنَهُ

He made it soft, or smooth, لَيِّن. (Msb.)

مَارِنٌ

The [soft, or cartilagenous] part of the nose, beneath, or exclusive of, the bone. (Zj, in his “ Khalk el-Insán: ” and the like is said in the S and Msb, and partially in the K.)
