تماسّا

They (two bodies) touched each other; were, or became, in contact. (M, A, * K, *)

Hence, (K,) (tropical:) They two came together in the way of
مُبَاضَعَة: (S, Msb, * K: *) in this sense the verb is used in the Qur'an, 58:4 and 5. (S, TA.) See also مَسَّهَا.
