نُخَاعٌ

The spinal cord, or spinal marrow; (S, K, &c.;) what extends from the هَامَة through (فِى) the vertebræ to the end of the ذَنَب, like a cord of marrow. (Zj in his “ Khalk el-Insán. ”) See also شَلِيلٌ and البِخَاعُ.
