قَطَاةٌ

, of a beast, The croup, or rump, and what is between the hips, or haunches: (K:) or [the fore part of the croup; i. e.] the place where the رِدْف sits. (S, K.) See الغُرَابَانِ. أَدَلُّ مِنْ قَطَاةٍ: see تُبَّعٌ.
