مَقَانِبُ

Rapacious, or ravening, wolves: (O, K, TA:) a plural without a singular; or it is an irreg. plural of ↓ قَانِبٌ [q. v.]. (TA.)

It is also plural of مِقْنَبٌ [q. v.]. (Kf, TA.)
