مُنْقَادٌ

قَوءُودٌ (S, L, K) and
قَوُودٌ, without ء, (Ks,) and
قَيِّدٌ and
قَيْدٌ, [the last but one originally قَيْوِدٌ, and the last contracted from it,] like مَيِّتٌ and مَيْتٌ, and
أَقْوَدُ, (L, K,) A horse, (Ks, S, L, K,) and a camel, (Ks, L,) tractable; (tropical:) submissive; easy. (Ks, S, L, K.) Ex. اِجْعَلْ فِى
أَوَّلِ قِطَارِكَ بَعِيرًا قَيِّدًا [Place thou at the head of thy string of camels a camel that is tractable]. (A.)
