مَقِيلٌ

A resting-place; synonym مُسْتَقَرٌّ: hence, مَقِيلُ الحُبِّ [the resting-place of love] and مَقِيلُ الغَيْظِ [the resting-place of wrath], applied by El-Mutanebbee to the heart. (W, i. 112.)
