مِرْشَحٌ

and ↓ مِرْشَحَةٌ The inner covering that is beneath the felt cloth of a horse's saddle; so called because it imbibes the sweat: (L:) or the thing that is beneath the مِيثَرَة [q. v. in article وثر]. (S, L, K.)
