(assumed tropical:) He became [confused, or] in doubt, in his opinion, or judgment, not knowing how to utter it. (K.)

(assumed tropical:) He was angry, and changed in colour by reason of anger: (TA:) or he was angry, and would not answer. (K.)

(assumed tropical:) He was sick, not severely affected (لَمْ يُجْهَدْ [in the CK لم يَجْهَدْ]), (L, K,) but suffering depression: (K:) or he showed himself to be depressed, (JK, L,) without emaciation, (JK,) or by emaciation: (L:) and he was oppressed by sickness beyond his power of endurance: (L:) or he began to suffer pain, and exhibited an extenuated state of the belly, and dryness, and languor. (En-Nadr.)

ارغيداد also signifies (assumed tropical:) Languidness, or weakness, in the eye, and the ear, and the sight. (JK.)
