رَقَاشٌ

The serpent: (A, Sgh, K:) apparently because of the رُقْشَة [see رَقَشٌ] upon his back: (TA:) or a serpent speckled with black and white [like حَيَّةٌ رَقْشَاءُ]. (A.)
