رُقَيْشٌ

diminutive of رَقْشٌ, signifying The pointing, or dotting, of characters and writing: (As, TA:) or of أَرْقَشُ; as also ↓ أُرَيْقِشُ [so in the TA, but in some copies of the K, أُرَيْقِشٌ]: (AHát, K:) the latter is allowable. (A Hát.)
