سُهُمٌ

, thus, with two dammehs, [The fine filmy substance termed gossamer,] with the article ال, i. q. غَزْلُ عَيْنِ الشَّمْسِ [lit. the spun-thread of the rays of the sun]: (IAar, K:) and ↓ سَهَامٌ [signifies the same], with the article ال i. q. مُخَاطُ الشَّيْطَانِ [q. v., lit, the snivel of the devil].
