السَّمْنَ: pl أَسْلِيءَةٌ. (S, M, K.) El-Farezdak says,
[They were like a stupid female clarifying butter, when she collected her clarified butter in a skin not seasoned with rob]. (S.)كَانُوا كَسَالِيءَةٍ حَمْقَاءَ إِذْ حَقَنَتْسِلَاءَهَا فِى أَدِيمٍ غَيْرِ مَرْبُوبِ
