سَتَّارٌ

One who veils, or conceals, [much, or often; or who does so] well. (KL.) [Hence,] اَللّٰهُ سَتَّارُ العُيُوبِ (tropical:) God is He who is wont to veil vices, or faults]. (A.)

And The keeper of the curtain [that hangs over, and closes, the door of a chamber]. (MA.)
