Also and ↓خَاشِفٌ and ↓خَاشِفَةٌ sings. of خُشَّفٌ, which signifies Camels that journey by night: (S:) or, according to IB, the singular of this plural is خَاشِفٌ only: and the plural of خُشُوفٌ is خُشَّفٌ [a mistranscription for خُشُفٌ]. (L.)
