خِبْرَةٌ

Trial, proof, or test; (S, Msb, K;) and so ↓ خُبْرٌ, (S, K,) as in the saying, صَدَّقَ الخَبَرَ الخُبْرُ [The trial, proof, or test, verified the information]. (S.)
