زَافٌّ

[ act. particle n. of زَفَّ in the phrase زَفَّ العَرُوسَ: feminine with ة: plural of the latter زَوَافُّ. Hence,] زَحَفَتْ زَوَافُّهَا, a phrase mentioned by Lh, meaning اللَّوَاتِىزَفَفْنَهَا [i. e. The women who conducted her to her husband walked along gently]. (TA.)
