زَارِعٌ

[act. particle n. of 1:] i. q. زَرَّاعٌ (TA) [One who sows:] (tropical:) one who ploughs up, tills, or cultivates, land: (Mgh:) plural زُرَّاعٌ. (TA.) By this plural, in the Qur'an, 48:29, are meant Mohammad and his Companions, the inviters to El-Islám. (Zj.)
