زَرِيعٌ

[i. q. ↓ مَزْرُوعٌ Sown: &c.: see زَرِيعَةٌ].

Seed produce that is watered by the rain. (Ham p. 657.)

And hence, (tropical:) Anything soft, or tender; as being likened thereto. (Id.)
