ذَرُورٌ

A thing sprinkled: (M:) a dry medicament, (T, TA,) such as is sprinkled in the eye, (T, A, K,) and upon a wound, or sore: (T, TA:) or a kind of إِثْمِد [q. v.]. [Har p. 86.)
