The back, hinder, or latter, part of anything: its hindermost, or last, part: opposite ofمُقَدَّمٌ: as in the phrase, ضَرَبَ مُوءَخَّرَ رَأْسِهِ [He struck the back, or hinder part, of his head]. (S, Msb.) [See also أُخُرٌ and اخِرٌ.]
