تَضْعِيفٌ

تَضَاعِيفُ الشَّىْءِ means The doubles, or trebles, or multiples, of the thing; (مَا ضُعِّفَ مِنْهُ;) in this sense, تضاعيف has no singular, like تَبَاشِيرُ &c. (TA.)

As explained by Lth, (O,) التَّضْعِيفُ signifies حُمْلَانُ الكِيمِيَاءِ [i. e. What is used as an alloy in chemistry or alchymy]. (O, K.)
