الاِضْطِجَاعُ فِى السُّجُودِ is (tropical:) The not drawing up the body from the ground in prostration [in prayer]; (Mgh, TA;) the contracting oneself, and making the breast to cleave to the ground, therein. (K, TA.) [See also its particle n., below.]
