Water to which there is a pressing or crowding together [of camels]. (S, O, K.)

أَرْضٌ مَعْرُوكَةٌLand which the cattle (S, O, K) pasturing at their pleasure (S, O) have rubbed and pressed [with their feet] (عَرَكَتْهَا) so that it has become barren. (S, O, K.)

And رَجُلٌمَعْرُوكٌ (tropical:) A man pressed with petitions. (TA.)
