مَاءٌ مَعْرُوكٌ

1.
Water to which there is a pressing or crowding together [of camels]. (S, O, K.)
2.
أَرْضٌ مَعْرُوكَةٌ Land which the cattle (S, O, K) pasturing at their pleasure (S, O) have rubbed and pressed [with their feet] (عَرَكَتْهَا) so that it has become barren. (S, O, K.)
3.
And رَجُلٌ مَعْرُوكٌ (tropical:) A man pressed with petitions. (TA.)
